Hi! My name is Nish
I’ve been an Inner West resident for nine years and recently had my daughter Niloufer at RPA.
As a new mum, I'm shocked at the amount of waste and expense generated by clothing in the process of pregnancy and raising young babies.
Every few weeks or months, parents typically have to discard so many clothes simply because bub has outgrown them in weeks, sometimes with tags on!
There's got to be a better way.
This is why I created the Mum and Bub Clothes Hub - the only organised clothes-sharing ecosystem of its kind that allows Sydney parents to centralise and share a bank of pregnancy and baby clothes - free of charge!! It's a robust plan to help us reduce our carbon footprint as well as ease the pressure on the wallet.
Prior to the role of mother, I worked in the investments and finance field for 15 years with an emphasis on sustainability. I have a Masters in Finance, a Bachelors in Economics, CFA Certificate in Sustainable Investing, and a keen passion for grassroots projects to achieve better environmental and social outcomes for the community.
